What kind of marketing materials do you design?
We design the full range — social media graphics, brochures, flyers, pull-up banners, pitch decks, email templates, promotional materials, and more. Everything is designed to be consistent with your brand and compelling to your audience.
Do you offer ongoing design support for social media content?
Yes. If you need a steady stream of on-brand social media graphics, we offer retainer-based packages through our DesignCore service. This is ideal for businesses that need regular content without the cost of a full-time in-house designer.
Can you create materials for both print and digital use?
Absolutely. We prepare files optimised for both print (CMYK, correct bleed and resolution) and digital (RGB, web-ready formats). You’ll always receive the right file for the right medium.
Do you design websites as well?
Yes — web design is one of our core services. We build conversion-focused websites that are designed to look credible, load fast, and guide visitors toward taking action. You can learn more on our Web Design page.
Do you design the website or build it too?
We handle both design and development. You get a fully functional, live website — not just a mockup. We also hand over everything you need to manage your site independently after launch.
Will my website work on mobile?
Every website we build is fully responsive and tested across devices. In todays age, mobile-first isn’t optional — it’s the baseline.
What does a graphic design project with Unitic typically include?
Every project starts with a Discovery session where we learn your business, goals, and audience. From there we develop a strategy, create the designs with your input and approval at every stage, and hand over all final files once you’re 100% happy. You never receive a generic template — everything is custom-built for your brand.
How long does a brand identity or logo design project take?
Most brand identity projects take 2–4 weeks from kick-off to final delivery, depending on scope and how quickly feedback is provided. We agree on a clear milestone timeline upfront so there are no surprises.
Do I own the final designs?
Yes. Once the project is complete and payment is settled, full ownership of all final artwork and files transfers to you. We provide all source files so you’re never dependent on us to make changes.
What if I don't like the initial concepts?
Our process includes structured revision rounds so you can guide the direction before anything is finalised. We’ve built the process this way specifically to avoid wasted time — your feedback is part of how great design happens.
Can you work with an existing brand, or do you only create from scratch?
Both. We can refine and elevate an existing brand identity, extend it into new materials, or build an entirely new one from the ground up. We’ll advise on which approach makes the most sense after our Discovery session.
What exactly is DesignCore™?
DesignCore™ is Unitic’s monthly creative partnership subscription. Instead of juggling freelancers or briefing multiple agencies, you get a dedicated creative team handling all your design, marketing, web, and content needs through one simple plan — one partner, one point of contact, unlimited requests.
How do I submit requests and how quickly will I receive my designs?
Once onboarded, you submit requests through our streamlined system. Requests are queued and worked through in order, with most standard designs delivered within 24–48 hours. Your dedicated Project Manager will always keep you updated on timelines.
What types of work can I request?
Almost anything creative — social media graphics, branding, marketing collateral, website updates, photography, presentations, company profiles, and digital advertising assets. If it’s creative, it’s covered.
Can I pause or cancel my subscription?
Yes, anytime. No lock-ins, no cancellation penalties. You can also pause your subscription when you have no active requests and resume it when you’re ready — you’ll never pay for time you’re not using.
What's the difference between DesignCore™ Growth and DesignCore™ Scale?
Both plans include the full scope of creative services. Scale is designed for businesses with higher output needs or multiple streams of work running simultaneously. Not sure which fits? Book a consultation and we’ll recommend the right plan for you.
Do you offer refunds?
We don’t offer refunds, and we want to be upfront about that from the start. The moment a project begins, our team invests significant time, creative thinking, research, and resources on your behalf — none of which can be returned. What we do offer instead is our commitment to keep working with you through our revision process until the deliverable meets the agreed brief. Your satisfaction is always the goal.
How does payment work and what happens if I pay late?
Projects are split into two equal payments — 50% upfront before we begin, and the remaining 50% upon completion before files are handed over. We understand that things happen, so if your final payment is delayed, we allow a 15-day grace period to settle the balance. After that, a 15% late payment fee applies. We’d always rather resolve payment matters directly and amicably, so if you anticipate a delay, please let us know in advance.
How many revisions am I entitled to, and what counts as a scope change?
Every project includes two rounds of revisions per deliverable — and we ask that all feedback is consolidated into a single submission per round so we can address everything at once. Revisions cover adjustments within the agreed creative direction, such as colours, fonts, layouts, and copy. If you’d like to take the project in a completely new direction or add deliverables not in the original brief, that’s a scope change and we’ll quote you separately. We always aim to get the direction right from the start, which is why our Discovery and Strategy process matters so much.
Who owns the final designs, and will Unitic use my project in their portfolio?
Once full payment is received, the final approved deliverables are yours — completely. We’ll hand over all source files so you’re never dependent on us to make future changes. As a creative studio, we do showcase completed work in our portfolio and on social media, as it helps other businesses see what’s possible. If you’d prefer we keep your project private, simply let us know in writing before the project starts and we’ll respect that entirely.
How do I submit a complaint, and what can I expect?
We take every concern seriously and have a clear process in place to handle them fairly. If something isn’t right, email us at complaints@unitic.co.za with your name, project details, a description of the issue, and what outcome you’re hoping for. We’ll acknowledge your email within 2 business days and provide a full response within 7 business days. If you feel the outcome doesn’t resolve your concern, you can request escalation to senior management within 5 business days — and we’ll conduct an independent review. We genuinely want every client to feel heard.
